Artemis gives three performances in Helsinki and Raseborg at the end of April. A total of 12 people participate. The group is led by Antonis Dallaris. The visit is arranged by Brage.

After the 2018 regatta with 22 boats from seven countries it was clear that piggybacking on the Swedish SRS rule and extrapolating across it and across ORC to establish handicaps had reached the end of its usefulness. The Göran Schildt regatta had to come up with something simpler and less demanding on the small GSR volunteer organisation.

We are currently in the process of preparing and submitting a comprehensive Covid-19 Risk Assessment for the 2021 Göran Schildt Regatta (GSR). The approval by the Hellenic Sailing Federation of such an assessment is currently a prerequisite for holding sailing events in Greece.

Voit nauttia Välimeren hyvästä ruoasta ja musiikista ravintola GH Fyrenin kreikkalaisella iltamilla “Ελληνική βραδιά” lauantaina 7.11. klo 19–22 Tammisaaressa. Chrysa Panagiotopoulou laulaa kreikkalaisia lauluja Kimmo Hyypän säestämänä (bouzouki). Kreikkalainen keittiömestari Akis Tsaboulis valmistelee ruoat ja esittelee kreikkalaisen keittiön yleisölle. Göran Schildt Regatan järjestelykomitea päätti 26 heinäkuuta siirtää vuoden 2020 regatan vuodelle 2021. Päätös tehtiin harkittua Covid–19 taudin riskit ja Kreikan viranomaisten asettamia sääntöjä toteuttaa regatta näissä olosuhteissa.

Koska usealla kipparilla viime vuoden regatassa oli miehistöpula järjestäjät päättivät perustaa GSR miehestöpörssin, johon sekä halukkaat gastit ja kipparit voivat ilmoittautua. Jäljempänä kerrotaan miten ilmoittautua jos haluat osallistua regattaan gastina tai jos kipparina tarvitset lisää miehistöä.

There are nine Optimist dinghy sailboats and two Laser class sailboats ready to be put on water at the Leros Nautical Club. Two more Laser boats are ordered. Alexis Charlampides, his son Yorgos and Christine Schildt have been busy to equip the boats before season. The Nautical club will organise training for youth interested to learn to sail this summer and is also open for partners to arrange courses in their facilities.
